In addition to our traditional executive search service, we also offer an “Unbundled Search” approach (US).  This service offers an alternative, cost-effective option to full blown executive search.  While ECK Consulting focuses on executive level talent,  US specializes in middle management talent in all functional areas with annual compensation ranging from $300 to $500K.

Whether you want to utilize your own internal resources or simply don’t have the budget for a “full service” search, our Unbundled Search (US) service is a smart and cost effective solution to recruiting passive middle management talent.

We will do all the leg work for you – conduct custom research and rigorous candidate development resulting in a short list of candidates for you or your internal staff to interview. Please note that all personal interviews will be conducted by you, the client. After presentation of our short list of candidates, we will work with you on scheduling, follow up, feedback and reference checking for each prospect until the search is completed. US is offered on a fixed-fee basis.

Our Process

We listen to all key voices to identify the scope of responsibility, strategic objectives, required experience and desirable attributes for the position. Our on-site analysis helps us understand organizational relationships and corporate culture.

We define the responsibilities of and qualifications for the position which, upon your approval, guides our search efforts.

Extensive custom research is conducted for each client. Research is the core of our business. We utilize our own proprietary database as well as a worldwide network of resources and contacts to identify top talent. Likely prospects are screened to evaluate experience, personal characteristics, management style and potential cultural fit.

We conduct in depth personal face-to-face interviews to evaluate and assess candidates.  We also use video conferencing as a pre-screen option when needed.

We provide a written, confidential report on each prospective candidate.

We coordinate face-to-face meetings, feedback and follow-up activities.

We gather reference information which will include conversations with superiors, subordinates and peers.
